BSDC graduate tops 2016 FSO Examinations

Atty. Vida Soraya S. Verzosa, a graduate of BS Development Communication, led the 2016 Foreign Service Officer (FSO) Examinations with a composite rating of 86.93%, as announced by Department of Foreign Affairs' Board of Foreign Service Examinations. There were only 26 successful examinees out of the 527 who took the exam held from August 2016 to July 2017. 

Versoza completed her BSDC degree in 2006, where she majored in Educational Communication. During her stay at the College of Development Communication, she was an active member of the UPLB Jocks. She served as University Student Council vice chairperson from 2000-2001 and chairperson from 2003-2004. She was also a writer for the UPLB Perspective. After graduating from UPLB, Verzosa studied law at the Ateneo de Manila University and later completed a Dispute Settlement course in International Economic Law and Policy at the Universitat de Barcelona. 

After graduating from UPLB, Versoza took her law degree at the Ateneo de Manila University and her masters in International Economic Law and Policy at Universitat de Barcelona. She is currently serving as special counsel for intervention at International Justice Mission and was recently named national communications and media manager for the same institution.
