Christian Ray Buendia, a current MS Development Communication student at UP Los Baņos, won 1st prize for fiction at the 2017 Nick Joaquin Literary Awards. Atty. Vida Soraya S. Verzosa, a graduate of BS Development Communication (Class of 2006), ranked first among the passers of the 2016 Foreign Service Officer Examinations with a composite rating of 86.93%, as announced by the Department of Foreign Affairs' Board of Foreign Service Examinations.
